Heroes- David Bowie

I choice this song because is really beautifull and  it has a lot of meaning for me. The song rang at the precise moment of my life and why i loved.

'Heroes' speaks of love, longing and hope for a time in which the difficulties are greater, the more restricted spaces and greater rabies. It has become an anthem in hopeful, who cries out strong against the repression and anonymity in favor of the love and courage, by means of a sound and emotive chorus that continues to inspire many: "We can be heroes, just for one day".

Sometimes there are ways to defeat the 'strongest' that one does not imagine, and this is one of them. Make the shame falls on them with an act so simple and so strong at the same time. Even if only for a day there will be a piece of freedom and heroism, represented in the love.

There is a positive message very marked that wants to put in the listener the clear idea that  things can be achieved and reach to touch the stars although for a moment ... but it will be a moment that we  not ever forget.

Let's act with love.

I chose this song over the others because the message delivered is very powerful and really complete because it talks about everything, as wars, people's decisions and choices,  the influence of the media and the bad things they show,  questioning at the same time "where is the love", "whatever happened to the values of humanity". most of the time we do not realize how much we can hurt someone whith a simple word or expression or even with an action. That's why i think this song is so good, because it helps us to be awaken, to ask if we are acting properly or not. That was what they wanted, that we inquire, that's why they put so many question marks as technique to draw our attention.
I think everyone can interpret different messages because all of us have diverse life's stories that make us how we are, but at the end we are all the same so let's act as one. Let's make things be different, that is the idea of the song, do something, the world is too bad already and there are too many bad things happening, "Instead of spreading love we're spreading animosity". So, just like the song says,  "we only got one world". Therefore we need to start being conscious by the world around us and start doing small thing to help the change.

Let it SHINE!

Maybe is not my favorite song ever, but I want to share it with you because I think that it has a huge message. The song is "firework" by Katy Perry.

When we talk about discrimination and stereotypes automatically   we talk about hurting someone’s self-esteem.  I think that  no one is out from that feeling. At everyone has happened  that someone comes with bad intentions and cruel comments hurts our feelings, at least once in life.

In my opinion, this song is like the anthem of self-esteem, SELF-LOVE.
It tells us that each one of us is beautiful in some way. Everyone has  “SPARKS” inside, we are fireworks.
This song is created to increase
self-esteem in young people who feel marginalized by the standards applied by the world of beauty and sexuality.

The video shows  people who are victims of society's prejudices. It shows different cases of homosexuality, domestic violence, obesity and diseases. And at the end of the video, they win the fight and show us the brightness they have  within themselves.

I think this song is dedicated especially to young people  who have felt apart from the rules of society.

DO NOT EVER let someone tell you your not good enough or make you feel like you have no purpose! Embrace the beauty within you daily to where others will see the fire within your souls. Be PROUD for who you are!!

All about lovin' you. - Bon Jovi

I chose  "All about lovin' you" by Bon Jovi,  because  is a romantic video, and this song is about a man who talk about the history with his girlfriend, he talks everything about their relationship, their problems like a couple, but say that he love her above everything.I really love the lirycs of this song because he is very cute. in this video , the man ask his girlfriend if she want to married with him, but he jump of a building and he ask her writing it  in a parachute. It is very romantic experience. I love that video .

Fix you

I chose the song Fix you of Coldplay, this song is about bad things that happen to people in the life and we believe that this things don´t have any solution, but always will be somebody who will help you to solve it, maybe a friend, your couple or your family.
The creators of this song was Coldplay and what was called me the attention on this song was the lyrics, since it can come to so many persons who happen for hard moments, which they feel that the world is going to die, but always will be someone in some place that will help you.
It is very possible, that exist persons that they are interested in the message that transmits this song, but everything will depend on the feelings of every person, since some of them can be more unemotional and this message don´t produce anything on them in his interior. Principally what is demonstrated in this song is not to give up and the power of trust in other person who are ready to help you.
I believe and for to close this comment, it is that this song was made to help persons to see a light at the end of the way, because everything has a solution in this life, except the death.

First gay hug.

This video was created by a youtube blogger (her channel: UnsolicitedProject), who call herself "Gay Women".
What really attracted my attention, wasn't any techniques or style of filming, it was the topic, it's very interesting.

There are quite a lot of points of view:
-The old woman that thinks it's a sin, because it's on the bible.
-The women that thinks it's wrong, because that's how she was taught.
-The nervous men because is in contact with another men.
-I think that, to be more realistic, there should been a fanatic religious person, because it would be more  radical.

To me it's funny how they react, because it's completely normal to hug someone.
It's amazing what a person can do to show that, after all, an homofobic person can do everything that do all the time with an heterosexual person, but with an homosexual person.

So, what do you think?

Born to be FREE

When I came to the moment I had to decide which song to choose it took me only a minute to remember this song. Glup! is a Chilean band which became quite famous in the early 2000's. By that time I was a teenager and did not really get the meaning of the song. However, one day, looking for old fashioned music I listened to it and paid atenttion to its message.

Freebola is a song which represents the life of a girl who decides to live as a free person, she simply doesn't care about what people think of her, despite how disastrous her life might be. (under other people's eyes). She feels free to do, say and love whoever she wants, and that makes her happy. Freedom is her motto. And for soem time now, that is exactly the way I have been living.

The way this song was written makes it easy for young people to understand its meaning. Nevertheless, older people would find it difficult to really get what it means because of the language used in the song.

I think the main idea of the song is to make us realize that some people may have a different lifestyle than ours and that is not a reason to create prejudices about them, instead, we should get to know them in order to know why they have decided to live as such.

Accepting our differences as human beings is the first step to create a new concept of life, to learn, to love, to comprehend and finally to feel free.

Have you ever felt really free? Have you ever wanted to feel free? Have you ever pretended to be something you are not just because you need to fit in a place?

Feel free to comment, comrades!

Don't get too close, it's dark inside.

I would like to share the video of the song Demons, by Imagine Dragons. I really like this song and I’m part of that group of people who cries because we couldn’t get a ticket to Lollapalooza

Demons is a very beautiful song about those problems and troubles that hurt you, but you can’t fall and pull yourself down because of them. The video shows troubles like anorexia, war, domestic violence and the pain of losing someone. All those persons are in the concert, and if you look into their eyes you can literally see their pain and suffering, just like the song says – Look into my eyes, is where my demons hide. And maybe on the surface those persons are laughing and they seem happy, but they know that inside them are those personal “demons”, all those problems they’re dealing with and prefer to hide, because they don’t want to hurt anyone else with their troubles.

Searching on the Internet I found a lot of comments of this video, and most of them were about respect, not judging other people because we don’t know their history, and trying to hold up troubles because is the only thing we can do with them. Much comments were about how much understood they felt with the lyrics of the song, and personally I have to say I felt in that way too.

What about you? Have you ever feel in that way? Do you think we have demons inside us? Let me know your opinion!
